WCFM 91.9 FM has been broadcasting from the Williams College campus since 1941, making it one of the longest-running college radio stations in the United States. For generations of Williams students, WCFM has been more than a radio station — it's been a creative home, a community, and an education in music, broadcasting, and the art of the show.

Friends of WCFM was formed by alumni who wanted to give something back to the station that gave so much to them. Our goals are simple: to connect WCFM alumni with each other and with the current station, to preserve the history and archives of WCFM, to support the station's long-term planning and future, and to celebrate what made WCFM special through events like the annual WCFM Throwback.

We are not here to run the station — that's the students' job, and they do it well. We're here to make sure WCFM is still on the air for the next generation of Williams students.
